In de eerste jaren groeide het taartenhuisje aan de Kraanlei uit tot dé plek voor artisanale taarten en kleurrijke cupcakes. Julie’s House floreerde en groeide. De tweede vestiging opende z’n deuren in de vorm van een makkelijk bereikbare shop aan de Koningin Elisabethlaan 26 in Gent. Bij deze takeaway winkel spring je binnen om heerlijk gebak af te halen zodat je er thuis van kan genieten.
De naam Julie's House werd door de jaren heen een begrip en ook horecazaken kwamen nieuwsgierig aankloppen. Zo vonden de taarten hun weg naar tal van koffiehuizen in Vlaanderen en Brussel waar ze op de dessertkaart prijken.
In the first years, the cake house on Kraanlei became the go-to place for artisanal cakes and colorful cupcakes. Julie's House flourished and grew. The second location opened its doors in the form of an easily accessible shop at Koningin Elisabethlaan 26 in Ghent. At this takeaway store, you can stop by to pick up delicious pastries to enjoy at home. Over the years, the name Julie's House became well-known and even other restaurants became curious and knocked on the door. Thus, the cakes found their way to numerous coffeehouses in Flanders and Brussels where they are featured on the dessert menu.
After 10 years of growth and baking, the kitchen in the original building became too small. Since 2018, the beating heart of Julie's House has been located in the Eskimofabriek, on Wiedauwkaai in Ghent. The delicious treats that you find in the stores are made in the spacious studio with the sweet motto: 'baked with love, served with joy'. What's even more fun? Julie's cake vending machine where you can indulge 24/7.
